The Kannada film ‘Janani’ the debut film of Shiva alias Abdulla sibling of south Indian actress Kushboo was launched in 2003. After so many years of delay the audio release of the film was held on Saturday. Sister Kushboo came down to this function one and half hour late to release the album. This is the film directed by Rajakumar son of late Chandulal Jain. Vibha Rai is the heroine and Jayasudha plays the title role ‘Janani’. Prakash Raj and Kushboo are also in the cast of this film.

My brother selected Kannada for his debut and not any other language shows his interest to this language pointed Kushboo addressing the media. The film ‘Janani’ is close to my heart. I will be back again for the celebration and success of the film ‘Janani’ stated Kushboo.

Abdulla who is Shiva in ‘Janani’ admitted that it is because of the financial crunch the delay has happened. He said the script is amazing and its contents are relevant even today. I am not a great actor but not bad actor either stated Abdullah.

Director of fourth film Rajaakumar (his earlier ones are – Sangrama, Abijith and Yuddakanda) son of Chandulal Jain is happy for the film finally getting ready for release. The film has been given a U/A censor certificate. The mother sentiment film was shot in Bangalore Abhiman Studio, Melkote and Mysore. The film was completed in Rs.68 lakhs said Rajakumar for a question.

Lahari Recording Company has released the audio album of ‘Janani’. Producer B.N.Gangadhar, Parasmal Jain and actor Mohan were also present at the audio release of ‘Janani’.
